** note important Lawride update - see our Lawride page **
Tuesday 12th of July 2016
Hi everyone, we have lots going on this month not least of all the preperations for the lawride which have changed somewhat so please see the page for details, we don't want anyone going to the old location for the start. These changes are due to a flat refusal by Staffordshire police to assist with policing the event even tho it supports a charity for the families of fallen officers and will be attended by senior officers... So due to this the start point has changed and there will not be an escort this year.
I think we can all agree this years T shirt looks as good as any year and we are quite proud of it again.
With Cops and robbers rally upcoming we will be meeting for the ride down to that on Friday 22nd July at 09.15 hrs to set off at 09.30 hrs from the car park of the Shire Horse pub just off junction 14 M6 to set off for Kent and see England II
Our next meeting will be at the Green man in Hixon, Staffs on Thursday 28th July which is the Thursday before the Lawride to put up the Marquee and iron out any issues. They will be putting us on a three course for a tenner curry night again so those eating be there for 19.00 hrs prompt to eat so we can have the meet with those attending for that at 20.00 hrs. Please contact the sec to book in for food
If i don't see you at C and R, I'll catch you at the Lawride!!! - Veep
Thursday 16th May 2016
Hi Folks, our mid month meeting is a 2 for a tenner curry night at the Green man in Hixon, we will be there at 7 for food prompt and then for the meeting at 8. We have some new merch and some finalization for the lawride. We haven't much going on at the minuite in the run up to the Cops and robbers rally, the Lawride and police memorial day. We've been having a few questions about pre book for the lawride. Its a simple as we will be there for dinnertime on the Friday and all day Saturday. Come, pitch your tent, or turn up. The only costs are for the venue and stuff so £5 for the wristband, food and drinks pay at the bar. Breakfast for them who want we will be selling tickets for ion Friday and Saturday night or both so the green man know how many to cater for...... if its not booked you may be hungry
See you all soon

Monday 7th of March 2016
Hi everyone, a rocky start to the year with the cancellation of our attendance at the Matlock run, It was heavy snow when we were getting kitted up and as its a chapter ride out we have to consider the safety of our members. In agreement with the Pres we decided not to venture out and although the weather brightened up in the end and looked like a brilliant day out there were a few reports of injuries, damages and one fatality on the run which just isnt good enough and in my heart i'm glad we cancelled, we couldn't have lived with that being one of ours . Snow and bikes is just wrong....
Anyway on a lighter note we have our band for the Lawride 2016 comfirmed " Massive surfboard" and will be playing three sets for us all evening with a variety of music old and new and possibly requests too. We have had a few enquiries about camping and caravan spots which we will happily help with, this years T shirt is in production and hopefully we'll have a photo soon.
Our next chapter meeting will be a Chinese night at the Green man in Hixon on Thursday 17th of March, we will be sitting down for around 7pm to eat and then the usual meeting at 8pm. It is three courses for a tenner again and needs to be booked through the club sec if you want a place asap. Hoping to have the hoodies for those who have ordered and some more merch to follow. Before that we will be supporting the Starbikers Egg run in Stoke on this coming Sunday 13th March. Bring an easter egg!!
We will be meeting at the Lamb car park in Stone around 08.30 hrs
